Knitting & Crochet Lessons
As a general rule, our lessons are given with our materials. We offer a great variety of yarns for every budget. However, we do accommodate customers who are new to our store – all ongoing projects will be accepted. Our teachers have decades of experience in the craft.
Lessons are given on a prepaid basis. Please come to the store or reserve over the phone (514) 935-4401 with a credit card.
Please contact us if you have any questions or special requests.
PRIVATE LESSONS — The Mouliné Method
Our unique approach to teaching knitting and crochet is to have you learn the techniques and stitches which you need to know in order to start and complete projects that interest you.
Private lessons are the most efficient way to learn knitting and crochet with confidence–from a beginner’s how-to-get started stages to the most advanced techniques, as well as to get help in solving time-consuming problems and/or learning how to understand various patterns and instructions you will need to finish current projects.
To accommodate your specific needs and to ensure that your projects are completed to your satisfaction, we offer one-on-one lessons (by appointment) 7 days per week during our business hours.
You can arrange to take your lessons when you need them and learn what you want to learn at your own pace.
We don’t lock you into any set program: you choose whether you’d like to keep knitting scarves and simple accessories or proceed to knitting and even designing sophisticated garments.
We teach both Continental and British styles of knitting. The cost of private lessons is $50.00 for a 2-hour session. If you would like to come with friends or family members, group reservations are welcome and we give discounts for groups of 3 people or more.
